2016 Powerman Duathlon to Take Place Today
Sun Star reports that the 2016 Powerman Duathlon will be held today in Clark Freeport Zone, in Pampanga and will be joined by 3 Cebu natives. “The duathletes are Joland Olmilla of Mandaue City, Mischelle Gilbuena who hails from Bantayan Island, and Chobie Dueñas of Motor Ace Kawasaki Racing Team.”

PSC Turns to South Koreans to Improve Sports
Philippine Sports Commission chief Butch Ramirez hopes that the PSC can learn from the Korean Institute of Sports Science, which has signed a Memorandum of Agreement so that the country can learn how to develop elite athletes.

Pacquiao to be Tourism’s Poster Boy

According to Rappler, “Members of the House committee on tourism mutually agreed to designate boxing champion and Senator Manny Pacquiao as the official face of the Department of Tourism.”
